Ryan C Rother - Mechanicsburg Area Denitst

Originally from the Lehigh Valley, Dr. Rother settled in the Cumberland Valley with his family and quickly became one of Central Pennsylvania’s leading dentists.  In 2016, Rother was nationally recognized as a “Top 40 Dentist Under 40” by the Incisal Edge Magazine, a nation-wide industry publication.  As a Partner of the Verber Dental Group, Rother is proud to provide his extraordinary care to patients of Central Pennsylvania for years to come.

Dr. Rother completed his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology at the Pennsylvania State University with a concentration in Vertebrate Physiology. While in State College, Dr. Rother was active with the Eberly College of Science Admissions Team, as well as serving as President of the Penn State Pre-Dental Society, where he lead a team of fellow Pre-Dental students to Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic, to volunteer at local dental clinics.​

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Penn State, Dr. Rother enrolled in dental school at Temple University in Philadelphia. In addition to acquiring his clinical skills in Endodontics, Oral surgery, Invisalign, and Restorative Dentistry, Dr. Rother maintained membership in the American Student Dental Association and Xi Psi Phi Dental Fraternity. Dr. Rother finished his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in the spring of 2014, and proudly graduated Cum Laude.

Dr. Rother proudly holds membership in the Dawson Academy, and contributes regularly the the Central Pennsylvania Dawson Study Club.  In addition to his dedication to Complete Dentistry, Rother is active with the Crown Council, the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry. ​

Dr. Rother and his wife, Erin, are always looking for day trips and adventures to experience with their daughters, Leah, Elizabeth, and their Yellow Labrador Retriever, Cali.  Dr. Rother and his family live for Penn State football in the fall, ski in the winter, and golf throughout the summer. After serving patients, Dr. Rother looks forward to a quick run in the neighborhood or a hike on the trail with Cali.
